Sharpening steel are used to realign the small little teeth located on the knife blade's cutting edge to maintain an excellent cutting performance. Fine cut allowing you to realign perfectly the knife edge. Suitable for an intensive use in the agri-food industry.

Description

Sharpening steel made up of:

  • a high carbon steel rod, with a hard chromium-plated coating for greater resistance to corrosion. A heat treatment provides the hardness necessary to sharpen any type of knife.
  • an ergonomic bi-material handle for a good grip: a non-slip part made of elastomer and another part made of highly resistant plastic. The sharpening steel handle is also fitted with a protective bolster for better safety.
  • a hanging ring allowing you to hang the sharpening steel.

Sharpening steel available with a round or oval rod. The wider the rod, the bigger the contact with the cutting knife and the more efficient the sharpening. Made in France. Complies with the requirements of HACCP standards.
