Killing cones are very useful to bleed poultry. When slaughtering the birds, using a killing cone allows hands-free working and facilitates the bleeding. It also enables the poultry to bleed for a few minutes in the cones before plucking. Various types of killing cones are available, wall-mounted or rotary killing cones, on tripod or with swivel castors. Our killing cones are made of stainless steel, galvanized steel or food-contact guaranteed plastic. Killing cone stands are also fitted with a blood trough, while wall-mounted killing cones aren’t. We offer several sizes of killing cones, according to the type of poultry (turkey, chicken etc.), we can even provide a cone insert, for use with some of our killing cones, in order to bleed smaller birds.
