Plucking machine specially designed for the wet plucking of foie gras ducks that can be more delicate. This plucker is efficient, very easy to use and compact.
The Plumex 96 plucker for « foie gras » duck is fitted with:
- Stainless steel plucking rollers to remove tail feathers, big wings feathers and some regular feathers on the body of the duck.
- Rubber brushes to remove feathers on the neck and to finish plucking.
Rollers and rubbers brushes are driven by a motor and three drive belts.
“Foie gras” duck has to be presented against rollers and rubber brushes to be plucked.
A plastic collecting basket is placed under the plucker to collect removed feathers.
The Plumex 96 plucker for “foie gras” duck is made of food-contact guaranteed polyester and stainless steel.
This plucking machine is available in two versions:
- with a single-phase motor (220 V)
- with a three-phase motor (380 V)
The motor is protected from water spraying and feathers scattering.
This plucker for foie gras duck complies with the new CE safety standards: when the hood is opened the motor switches off and the plucker is fitted with a knee-operated emergency stop button.
This plucking machine is delivered already assembled, ready to install.
