This model is similar to the precision thermometer already available on the website, but this time it has a remote sensor. The sensor can then measure the temperature in hard-to-reach places, such as a soaking tank or the inside of a cold room, at a distance from the main unit. This ensures operator safety and localised accuracy. The 1-metre silicone cable offers optimum flexibility, which is sufficient for most installations. Silicone is also suitable for long periods of use in negative refrigeration.

In poultry slaughtering, this device can be used for direct measurements of the core temperature of a carcass without having to move the main housing. It remains clean and out of the contamination zone. The thermometer can also be used for monitoring cold rooms, HACCP control, health safety, traceability and cold chain compliance.

Practical: by activating the auto-off mode, the thermometer switches itself off automatically after 8 or 60 minutes. Added benefit: the Cal Check function ensures that the device is in good electronic condition and detects the slightest fault that could affect your measurements. Each time you switch it on, this function checks the internal calibration and measurement accuracy. You will then be alerted if there is a problem.

The food grade stainless steel sensor is quick and easy to clean.

This model has an IP65 waterproof housing and complies with the EN 13485 standard. It comes complete with stand and batteries (approx. 2 years' use).
