High quality glueboard fly killer allowing you to get rid of flying insects (flies, mosquitoes, midges, wasps, horseflies, etc.). For indoor or outdoor use, in dry environment. This fly killer is cost-saving, has a modern design and is very easy to use. Ensures good hygiene conditions in slaughter facilities.
The Iglu glueboard fly killer operates thanks to the strong attraction power of the fluorescent lamp. Insects are attracted to light and get stuck to the glue board located behind the lamp.
Entirely made of 441 stainless steel.
Can be wall-mounted or used free standing.
It is fitted with:
- an energy saving UV lamp with E14 screw cap (available as spare parts). A shatterproof UV lamp can also be used with this glueboard fly killer particularly in agri-food environments (sold separately).
- a glue board allowing you to trap flying insects attracted to UVA rays. Very effective system, easy to install and maintain. This glue board is resistant to UVA, dust and high temperatures up to 60°C. This glue board is white, single-faced with a grid pattern (for ease of counting). It is made of cardboard (a cost-saving material, suitable for use in dry environments). The use of glue boards is particularly recommended in the agri-food industry since it prevents the risk of insects being blown out of the catchment tray. Glue boards for iglu fly killer are available as spare parts (sold separately).
This glueboard fly killer is suitable for a 50m² surface area.
This fly killer has an IP20 rating:
- Protected against solid objects over 12.5mm e.g. hands, large tools.
- No protection against water.
For optimum efficiency, the lamp should be replaced every year. The lamp starts losing efficiency to attract flying insects after 8 months. After one year, the lamp is only 30% effective. The glue plate should be changed every 2 months (if used 24 hours a day). These parts are sold separately on our website.
The Iglu glueboard fly killer is also available in other colours: yellow, black, green, red, white and blue (quotation upon request).
For more than 57 units the stainless steel base can be customized (quotation upon request).
