This electric flying insect killer is made of stainless steel and is fitted with:
- A shatterproof UV lamp (E14 screw cap lamp). Shatterproof lamps are strongly recommended for use in the agri-food industry. This lamp is coated to prevent any risk of broken glass spraying if the lamp shatters. The light of this fluorescent lamp (actinic) particularly attracts insects. Available as spare parts. The standard UV lamp is also suitable for this electric flying insect killer.
- A killing grid powered by a transformer exterminates flying insects on contact with it. This electric flying insect killer provides an optimum electrocution surface area.
- An emptying flap to remove struck insects from the bottom of the flying insect killer. An insect tray is also available as an option (quotation upon request).
- A chain allowing you to hang the electric flying insect killer. Can be used: wall-mounted (screws and dowels not included), suspended or free standing.We can also provide glueboard fly killer (sold separately).
For optimum efficiency, the lamp should be replaced every year. The lamp starts losing efficiency to attract flying insects after 8 months. After one year, the lamp is only 30% effective. The glue plate should be changed every 2 months (if used 24 hours a day). These parts are sold separately on our website.
This electric flying insect killer is also available in other colours or for larger surface areas (quotation upon request: not available online).
A mosquito neutralizer is also available as an option (quotation upon request).
